Application Procedure

1. Download and complete the Application Form (click on the link below). You may also request for a hardcopy of the Application Form from the School’s General Office.

2. Attached the following documents together with the Application Form:
   
   For Individuals

   • One recent passport-sized colored photograph

   • Photocopy of the NRIC (front and back)

   • List of proposed healthy menu and pricing for all items

   • Photocopy of Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and Certificate of Participation for Culinary Training Workshop for HMSP by HPB (if any)

3. Submit the completed Application Form and documents via email OR to the School’s General Office by the closing date.

Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

Requirements

• Stallholder(s) and assistant(s) who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents, aged 21 years old and above.

• Able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable prices in consultation with the School.

• Food must be served hot.

• Able to maintain a high standard of food safety, personal hygiene and cleanliness that meet Singapore Food Agency (SFA) requirements.

• Both applicant and stall assistant/s must possess the WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Successful applicant and stall assistant(s) operating the stall must attend and pass the Food Safety Course Level 1 conducted by SkillsFuture Singapore approved training providers.

• Able to comply with the latest Healthy Meals in Schools Programme (HMSP) guidelines. For more details, please refer HPB’s website @ HMSP ↗(opens in new tab)

• Must be able to operate till 6:30 am to 4:00pm during school terms

• Stallholder may be required to operate on other days / time as required by the School.

• Applicant must be in personal attendance at the stall during operating hours.

• Financial position (if applicable) of the applicants will be given due consideration upon meeting all of the above criteria.

• Applicants with catering experience or experience operating in a school environment are preferred.

• The above proposed menu list is negotiable and is subject to change by Westwood Secondary School.

Note to Applicants:

• Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.

• Only shortlisted applicants will be notified for an interview and will be required to provide food sampling at his/her own expenses.
