Westwood Secondary School warmly welcomes applications from Primary 6 students through the 2026 Direct School Admission (DSA) Exercise for admission to Secondary One in 2027. We welcome Primary 6 students who have passion and talents in one of the following areas:
Application Procedure
Day 1: Sport Trials / Simulation Challenge / Audition
Shortlisted applicants will attend an in-person selection trial / audition/ simulation challenge in their chosen talent area.
Day 2: Dialogue Session with School Leadership Team
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an in-person dialogue session with the School Leadership Team. During this session, the School Leadership Team will get a chance to learn about the applicant and for the applicant to better understand the opportunities and programmes that we offer.
APPLICATION OUTCOME
The decision of the DSA-Sec application selection panel is FINAL
Westwood Secondary reserves the right not to reveal the reasons for the non-selection of applicants
Successful applicants who have accepted the DSA-Sec application are NOT allowed to participate in the 2027 Secondary One Posting Exercise
Successful applicants who have accepted the DSA-Sec application are NOT allowed to transfer to another school after the release of the PSLE results

Shortlist Candidates for DSA Selection | Before 3 July 2026 |
Selection Exercise | All shortlisted candidates will be informed via their parent’s official email on the exact date of their selection trial / audition. |
Results Release | All applicants will be informed of the DSA outcome between 17 and 28 August 2026 |
Parents and students are strongly encouraged to choose schools wisely based on the student's aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the schools' academic and non-academic requirements, and the programmes available to develop the area of talent.
Students who are successfully admitted to the school via DSA are expected to honour their commitment to the school, and participate in the activities related to the talent they are selected for from Sec 1-4.
