OBJECTIVES

1. To cultivate a passion for the performing arts, develop well-rounded musicianship and appreciation of collaborative music-making.

2. To provide authentic platforms for performance and public showcase, building students’ communication skills, confidence and showmanship through meaningful audience engagement.

3. To develop teamwork and leadership skills, fostering collaboration, responsibility and peer leadership as students work collectively towards shared ensemble goals.

4. To nurture informed and reflective audiences of the arts, enhancing critical thinking, aesthetic awareness, and civic literacy through active engagement with diverse musical works.

CCA Fair	January	The CCA Fair provides a platform for the Guitar Ensemble to showcase our programmes and attract the Sec 1s to join the CCA. At the booths, members will share the various programmes the ensemble takes part in over the years and allow the Sec 1s to try out the guitars under the guidance of the ensemble members.
Concert: VIVACE IV	27 March	To provide student guitarists with a meaningful platform to perform, collaborate and engage in musical exchange with peers from another school.
Learning Journeys / Concerts / workshops for various guitar performances / skills	Whole Year	The Learning Journeys, Concerts or workshops will give members the opportunity to witness performances from ensembles in other schools, polytechnics or other institutions and to pick up new skills such as the maintenance of their guitars.
Annual Bonding & Training Camp	October/November	The annual Bonding Day is held during the Year-End holiday so as · to forge a stronger bond among Sec 1 to Sec 3 students through fun and games, · to provide opportunities to the sec 3 CCA leaders to practice their leadership skills by empowering them to plan and run activities themselves to nurture and identify potential leaders and provide them with the necessary skills for future appointments in guitar.
